Association membership

Association membership is for professional reflexology organizations that fulfill the requirements set out in Appendix 2 of the RiEN Constitution.

Professional Organizations eligible for inclusion into the Reflexology in Europe Nexus should:
• Be a constituted organization representing qualified Reflexologists, and require minimum criteria of qualification and training for eligibility onto the organizations’ Register of Reflexologists.
• Be able to demonstrate how the above criteria are implemented.
• They must be prepared to abide by the disciplinary and complaints procedure of RiEN
• Follow appropriate standard of professional conduct and practice as laid down in Appendix 4 of the Constitution
• Be accountable for and to it members.

Benefits to Association members:
• Receive the RiEN newsletter (each member of your association can sign up for it)
• Put on their website the ‘Association Member of RiEN’ certificate
• Create a link to the RiEN website on their site
• Access password protected areas of the website
• Contact the Research team for advice on setting up research
• Attend the Research surgery before or after the AGM
• Send up to 2 representatives to the AGM
• Vote at the AGM
• Make nominations for Board members
• Participate in working groups

The Association membership fee is dependent on the number of reflexology members in your organization plus a one off administration charge of € 50 when first joining

School membership

Schools members must meet minimum educational standards of:
• 100 hour of A&P
• 150 hours of Reflexology
• 50 treatments based on a 45 minute hour

Benefits for school members:
● Receive the RiEN newsletter (each student of your organization can sign up for it)
● Be able to put on your website the ‘School Member of RiEN’ logo
● You can create a link to the RiEN website from your website
● Receive a discounted rate to attend the RiEN conference.

Annual cost of school membership:
€75 plus a one off administration charge of 50€ when first joining.

Friend membership

This membership is for individuals and CAM organizations without Reflexology and Non –European Reflexology Organizations

Benefits for friend members:
● Receive the RiEN newsletter (each student of your organisation can sign up for it)
● Be able to put on your website the RiEN logo
● You can create a link to the RiEN website from your website
● Receive a discounted rate to attend the RiEN conference.

Cost of friend membership:
The affiliate membership fee is dependent on the number of reflexology members in your organization plus a one off administration charge of €50 when first joining.
