Providers and Tutors
of
Continuous Education in Reflexology (CER)

AIMS 

This page is intended to be a guideline for all the providers (Organizations/Schools who invite a tutor to take a webinar) and tutors who are willing to take webinars for the RiEN members. 

The courses are intended to be post qualification/certification as a continue professional education for the reflexologist. 

RIEN EWG will evaluate your application and proposed webinar and come back to you with a reply if it is accepted or not. 

All the tutors application and webinars approved by the RIEN EWG and board will be listed in the RIEN website to have visibility to our members. 

CRITERIA FOR APPROVAL 

The Tutors must provide all the information requested on the Application Form. 

The Tutors has to demonstrate the following: 

  • To be RiEN member (Thru organizations or schools who paid their annual fee to RiEN) 
  • Have a teaching qualification and 3 year experience
  • Knowledge, skills and practice as a reflexologist
  • The course should have an accurate title that reflects the aims of the RiEN Continuous Education in Reflexology (CER) 
  • There should be clearly stated aim/s, learning outcomes/objectives 
  • There should be clearly stated pre-requisite qualifications or experience (if applicable).
  • The tutor should hold a teaching qualification

 

APPROVAL COVERAGE 

  • The approval only applies to the individual webinar title listed in the application form 
  • Each individual webinar title will be approved separately 
  • The approval of a webinar only applies to the named individual tutor 
  • Approval of a webinar by RIEN EWG and board does not guarantee to the attendee that the webinar is delivered to a high standard, but we hope that our criteria of selection encourage tutors to implement best practice 
  • Approval of a webinar by the RIEN EWG and board confirms that the provider has agreed to organise and deliver the programme within specific criteria 
  • Any changes to the webinar after the approval will invalidate it and has to be approved again by the RIEN EWG and board 
  • At the end of each webinar a RIEN EWG survey satisfaction will be filled in by the students to evaluate the webinar and the tutor

Some parts of the application form require explanation before they can be filled in properly. Please find these explanations below: 

Aims and Outcomes 

These are important sections of the application form. The aims need to accurately convey to attendees the overall purpose of the activity. The outcomes or objectives for the event should outline specifically what the participants will gain from the course:

  • what they will learn
  • what they will be able to do after the course
  • what practical skills or approaches that they will develop 

Mode of Attendance 

This term is used to describe the amount of time the course runs over. Typical examples of attendance include: 

  • Online webinar 
  • 90 minutes 
  • 120 minutes 

Extra information

  • When there is a multiple chose for reply, please delete the part you are not interested to 
  • This application form is intended for 1 webinar only. Should you have more webinars to submit for approval you have to fill in one application form for each of them.
  • Together with the application form, the tutor must send his/her Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Once the RIEN EWG and the board have approved your webinar, as stated in this AIMS page, it will be published on the RiEN website.
